pool and bathing place rule revision was published in the Florida
Administrative Weekly as the public hearing version on October 24,
2008. The hearing was held on December 2, 2008. A Notice of Change was
published April 10, 2009.

Apply for a License
Permits for public swimming pools are issued by the department's
County Health
Departments. Complete a
permit application
form (rtf) and submit it along with the required permit fee to the
health department in your county. Permit fees are based on the capacity
of the pool - the health department can help you determine the correct
fee for your pool.
The statute that addresses public swimming pools is
Florida Statutes 514
