Florida Asthma Prevention and Control Program
Asthma Surveillance Data and Reports
ASTHMA PROGRAM LINKS
The Florida Asthma Prevention and Control Program conducts surveillance to understand the burden of asthma in Florida. Data are analyzed on a statewide
and, where appropriate, county level to assist public health partners, policy makers, and health care providers in their efforts to improve asthma outcomes
and reduce costs to individuals and health care systems. Data are also used to monitor and evaluate the impact and effectiveness of these strategies. Data
include population-based, adult and child prevalence and risk behaviors, mortality, hospitalizations, and program specific data.
