Refugee Health:
Florida ranks above all other states in annual refugee arrivals. The
Refugee Health Program (RHP) coordinates the provision of health
assessment and immunization services to new arrivals to protect the
public health of our communities. The RHP also provides policy direction
for refugee/entrant health issues, provides reimbursements to county
health departments providing refugee/entrant health assessment and
immunization services, and coordinates interpretation and translation
services for the refugee population.
