Acknowledging what we do not have

Believing in what we do have

Collaborating to build what we should have

The Florida Viral Hepatitis Council (FVHC) was established in 2004 to encourage and promote the combined efforts of dedicated, skilled individuals and organizations to reduce the growing burden of viral hepatitis on Floridians, their families, and communities.  The 20-member Council includes representation from the community, private health care, public health, corrections, academic institutions, drug treatment, and other areas.

The purpose of the FVHC is to provide advice and guidance to the Florida Hepatitis Prevention Program on issues related to viral hepatitis.  The Council meets twice a year.
