The Office of Communications is the public information
team for the Florida Department of Health (DOH). The office
coordinates media relations for the Department by responding to media
inquiries and public records requests, facilitating interviews with
subject matter experts, and advising media outlets of important issues
and events.
DOH Communications also works with DOH programs, County
Health Departments, and state and federal agencies to disseminate health
information and policies to the public. The office supports the
initiatives of the Governor's Office and assists in the State Surgeon
General's public speaking schedule.
