The Equal Opportunity Section of the Bureau of Human Resource Management is responsible for planning, directing, coordinating, and assuring statewide compliance with federal and state civil rights laws and policies relating to provision of equal opportunities in employment.

This office is also responsible for planning, directing, coordinating and assuring statewide compliance with federal and state civil rights laws and policies relating to the provision of equally accessible and equally effective services.
